Why Adopt?

Birch Aquarium is dedicated to preserving marine life. To keep our 5,000+ fishes and invertebrates thriving, we spend almost a million dollars every year for food, maintenance, and specialized TLC for each of our 380 species. By adopting one today, you too can be part of the team that provides essential care to these special ocean inhabitants!

Your support also helps the aquarium maintain successful breeding programs (seahorses, corals, and more), which help aquariums around the world reduce the need to collect in the wild.

Who Can Adopt?

Children, grandparents, birthday party friends, school classes, community groups... anyone who wants to share in the responsibility of helping sea life.

Adoptions are valid for a year in prices ranging from $50 to $1,000 (tax-deductible), depending on the species' care and feeding needs.
