These two-hour parties require one adult for every 5 children under the age of 12.

Totally Tidepools

Make a splash with tide pool animals! Children will explore the amazing world of the rocky shore through live animal encounters, a visit to the aquarium's Tide Pool Plaza, and story time. Children will make their own tide pool craft to take home.

All About Sharks

Big teeth, big fins, big fun! Explore the ins and outs of sharks to see why they are so amazing. Search for sharks through the aquarium and get up close to touch a live shark. Each child will make a take-home craft.

Pirates of the Kelp

Transform your family and friends into pirates for a day as you search for treasure, get up close with sea faring creatures, and learn about the mysterious kelp forest and the riches it holds. Each child will make a pirate hat to take home.

A typical party will include classroom time with a Birch Aquarium instructor learning about the topic chosen for the party and touching live animals, a visit to a section of the Aquarium with the instructor (tide pools, shark exhibits, etc), time in the classroom to make a take-home craft relating to the party theme, and 30 minutes on the party patio to enjoy cake and snacks that you provide for your guests.
